Standard Service Rates

In-Shop Technical Support
$100 per hour

Network Administration & Advanced IT Support
$150 per hour

On-Site Trip Fee

  • Stony Plain & Spruce Grove: $25

  • Rural / Out-of-Town: $50

Trip fees apply only to on-site service and help cover travel time and fuel.

Basic Diagnostics
FREE!

A quick initial assessment to identify obvious issues before any paid work begins.

Includes:

  • Power and boot checks

  • Visual hardware inspection

  • Identification of obvious software or hardware problems

Advanced Diagnostics
$50

For deeper or more complex issues that require extended testing.

Includes:

  • Memory (RAM) testing

  • Hard drive / SSD health checks

  • BIOS and firmware inspection

  • Deeper troubleshooting beyond basic inspection

Windows Install/Reinstall
$120

For corrupted systems, major issues, or fresh starts.

Includes:

  • Full Windows reinstall or clean installation

  • Data preservation when possible

  • Updates and baseline system configuration

Windows License (if required): $150

Software Installation
$10/per application

Covers common software installs and setup.

Includes:

  • Installation, configuration, and verification

  • Office applications, printers, utilities, browsers, and similar software

Virus Removal & Disinfection
$120

Recommended if your computer shows signs of malware, pop-ups, strange behavior, or performance issues.

Includes:

  • Malware, virus, and unwanted software removal

  • Startup and performance cleanup

  • Browser cleanup and updates

  • Full system updates and testing

Standard Data Backup
$50

For typical home and small business users.

Includes:

  • Backup of user data up to 50GB

  • Documents, photos, email files, and user folders

Large Data Backup
$120

For systems with larger data sets.

Includes:

  • Backup of 50GB+ of data

  • Suitable for large photo libraries or multiple user profiles

Note: Backup pricing applies to standard, accessible local data.
Failing drives, external drives, or data recovery situations may require additional diagnostics.

MacBook Battery Replacement
$75–$100 labour + cost of battery

(If battery is glued, additional $50 labour applies)

  • Pricing varies by model and difficulty

  • Labour and parts are always quoted transparently

Windows Laptop Battery Replacement
$50–$75 labour + cost of battery

Includes:

  • Disassembly

  • Battery replacement

  • Full testing
